Under the dynamic direction of Bernie Sherlock, the Irish Youth Choir presents a vibrant International Women’s Day programme featuring music by contemporary women composers. The concert includes uplifting works by Rosephanye Powell, Caroline Shaw, and Susanna Lindmark’s Song of Hope. Irish talent shines through with music by Carrick-on-Suir native Marian Ingoldsby, and Laura ShielsProud Music of the Storm, a recent commission by the choir.

Karen Siegel’s To Be Free and Laura Hawley’s Sapiens explore themes of freedom and humanity, while the programme blends reflective beauty and rhythmic energy in works by Eleanor Daley and Andrea Ramsey. This exciting concert highlights the skill, passion, and energy of Ireland’s national youth choir.
