Solas Quartet & Antonio Oyarzabal

Renowned ensemble the Solas Quartet and award-winning pianist Antonio Oyarzabal join forces for an evening of music that bridges tradition and innovation in our opening concert. The programme features a dynamic work Pass the Hat by quartet member (and leader of the Irish Chamber Orchestra) Katherine Hunka, alongside Austrian composer Maria Bach’s seldom heard yet profoundly expressive Piano Quintet, a work that combines Romantic richness with early twentieth-century modernism.
