This fascinating set of pieces written over many years by early twentieth-century French composer Mélanie Bonis celebrates legendary female figures, and weaves rich narratives through a series of evocative and expressive piano works.
Awarded a Chevalier des Arts et des Letres by the French government in recognition of her contribution to music, Thérèse Fahy is known for her deep engagement with French piano repertoire. She returns to Clonmel with a concert that offers a unique opportunity to experience the full scope of Bonis’ homage to historical and mythical women.
